• SundayNorth Island, rain or drizzle in most places, with some heavy falls in Northland, but dry in Gisborne. South Island, further heavy rain in the northwest, and scattered falls elsewhere, but only a few showers in Otago and Southland.
• MondayNorth Island, further rain in most places, with some heavy falls in the north. South Island, heavy rain about and west of the Alps, scattered falls spreading elsewhere. Northeast winds in both islands,strong in exposed places.
